Founded by a Scottish-born maker now living by the sea on the Whangaparāoa Peninsula, Isle & Alba is a celebration of nature, simplicity, and the art of slow beauty.

Alba carries many meanings, in Latin, it means white, symbolising purity and calm. In Spanish, it means dawn, the promise of light and renewal and in Gaelic it means Scotland, a nod to our founder’s roots. Together, these meanings reflect our philosophy: honoring beginnings, nurturing balance, and embracing the natural beauty within.
